One Fen Court is a new 420,000 sq ft development for Italy’s largest insurance company Generali, creating 15 storeys of commercial office space, retail units at the lower levels and a new public passageway at street level.
Designed by Eric Parry Architects’, the development at One Fen Court is contained within a volume of minimal yet sharp geometries with a crystalline appearance that constantly changes as the light in the sky moves during the day. A dynamic addition to the skyline, the building can be seen from many of the City’s lanes and streets.
The building incorporates a roof garden, which was designed with German landscape architects
Latz + Partner. Accessible to public and tenants alike, the unique open-air area with restaurant directly below, offers panoramic views of London from within the Square Mile, and across the City to the Tower of London and beyond.
Shadbolt were asked to assist with the development, manufacturing and supplying bespoke FSC® certified crown cut, book matched European pippy oak veneered toilet cubicle fronts and associated white gloss laminate back panels and white matt laminate divisions. Factory primed for paint FD30 and FD60 fire persisting doors and doorsets were also supplied.
